Minors (those under the age of 18) are required to have a parent or legal guardian on site during the conference.  We will need the name and phone number of the parent or legal guardian contact provided below.

LODGING

Lodging Descriptions ONLY, See Reservations Below

Woodland Lodge

Each lodge features 20 hotel style rooms complete with microwave, mini fridge, small sitting area, private bathroom, pull out queen couch, 2 queen beds, and 2 Murphy style bunks. Sleeps a maximum of 8 guests per room. There are 3 rooms (A106, B106, C106) that are ADA accessible. Linens are provided.


All Cottages

The Cottages are the perfect housing choice for groups of guests who need all the comforts of home. Linens are provided. Refer to link below to view each cottage for number of bedrooms and baths.


Spring Villas

Modern villa-style accommodation. 6 beds, sleeps 6-9. 1 bedroom with King bed, 2 Murphy-style bunks, pull-out couch, 1 loft space with 3 mattresses. 1.5 bathrooms and kitchen. One ADA compliant Spring Villa available. Linens are provided.


Guest Cabin

Each room has 1 queen bed, a rollaway bed, private bathroom, mini-fridge and microwave. Linens are provided.


Family Chalets

These are quaint, self contained mini-homes complete with kitchen, living room, bedrooms and bathrooms. Linens are provided.


Mini-Lodges

These lodges have 4 bedrooms each with one upstairs and three downstairs, 3 bathrooms and additional bunk beds in the upstairs and downstairs lobby area. Sleeps up to 24 guests. Entire Lodge is rented as a unit. NO LINENS ARE PROVIDED.


Rustic Cabins

Each cabin has 2 sides with twin beds and bunks connected by a shared bathroom. Each side sleeps 4-5 guests. Both sides of the cabin will be rented as one unit. It's perfect to share with another family or with friends. NO LINENS ARE PROVIDED. You are welcome to bring your own coolers and outdoor cook stove.


RV and Tent sites

RV: Each site has full hook-ups and services (electricity, water & sewer). Bring any necessary adapters depending upon whether you reserve a 30 amp or 50 amp site.

Tent Camping Sites: One rate per tent.

Note: If you plan to sleep in your car/van, you will need to purchase a tent camping site.

Most classes are included with your registration, but for an additional fee, you can register to take part in these hands-on classes aimed at fostering practical, money saving skillsets.  The best way to learn is by doing, and our experts will show you how. Extra Fee Class Sessions

  • Bubble Trouble Hands-on Soap Making (18 yrs+): Thursday 9:45 AM-12:00 PM [4 remaining]

    Presenter: Lia Lenton
    Description: This is a saponification 101 class that will utilize sodium hydroxide (lye) & oil to make a basic lathering soap. This is a hands-on class and will require adult participants to adhere to safety procedures & guidelines. All ingredients will be provided to make cold processed soap to be completely cured at home.
    Please bring: Wrapping towel or blanket
    Can optionally bring: Fragrance/essential oils, molds, colorants
    Other requirements: No children allowed. Must be physically independent, not disabled. Hands-on Waiver.

  • Learning to Weld (15 yrs+): Wednesday, 2-5 pm [1 remaining]

    Presenter: Kelvin Nichols
    Description: The welding class will consist of:
    Stick welding and TIG welding; Basic theory in welding;
    Basic practical techniques in welding; 2 1/2 hours of hands-on practice; a small welding project.
    Please bring: Welding helmet, prefer­ably with auto dark­en­ing (brand Miller or Lincoln rec­om­mended as reputable); Welding gloves; Fully enclosed leather boots with no poly­ester tongue or breath­ing vents; Cotton long loose pants that will go over the boots; Cotton long sleeve shirts; Jacket that can be used around sparks and not melt; 41⁄2″ angle grinder, cutting discs, flap disc and wire wheel (if you have them please bring them); Safety glasses are a must!

    Description: Learn hands-on the steps of 100% whole-grain bread making including milling the berries, leavening, kneading, proofing, shaping, and baking. We will touch several forms of yeasted and naturally leavened breads.

    Description: Discover the art and science of preserving vegetables through lactic acid fermentation. In this hands-on workshop, participants will prepare their own jar of naturally fermented vegetables to take home while learning the essential principles behind one of humanity’s oldest and healthiest methods of food preservation.

    Description: Sharp tools are faster, safer, and more pleasant to use. Learn how to properly sharpen and maintain the cutting edges of all types of tools. From cutting geometry to abrasives and techniques; you will leave knowing how to maintain your tools for efficiency and longevity.

  • Charcoal (12 yrs+): Wednesday, 9:45 AM-12 PM [35 remaining]

    Presenter: John and Kimberly Dinsley
    Description: Two-hour presentation on the diverse applications of activated charcoal for the home, personal health, animals, and gardening/farming. There will be charcoal water to sample, and opportunity to make a charcoal poultice. Participants will receive a pint jar of activated charcoal powder ($19.95 value), a charcoal first aid stick ($7.95 value), and some sachets of activated charcoal capsules ($3.25 value).
    Age Requirements: Children under 12 are welcome to attend with a parent/guardian. Both need to register and pay for the class.
    Other requirements: No hands-on waiver required

  • Established business/ministry whose sole or central focus is on farming, farm internships, consulting, selling agricultural tools, seeds, growing supplies, equipment, etc.

  • Schools/Homeshools/Lifestyle Centers with established (operating at least 1 yr.) farms/gardens that are central to their educational mission. Includes selling curricula in agriculture and other educational resources.

  • Business/ministry focused on developing and applying the vital skills needed to support agriculture and self-sufficiency. Topics include (but are not limited to) food preservation, bulk food resources, alternative energy sources, homesteading, fabrication, construction, and entrepreneurial materials.

  • Community gardens, farm to table programs, resources for market farming/gardening as a ministry/outreach etc. Outreach must be related to agriculture in a meaningful way. Agricultural portion of ministries must be in business for at least a year in order to exhibit.

  • Individual Family Table
    We have added an affordable 6’ table space where an individual family that creates homemade and handmade products can sell their goods. We are offering this as a means for families with multiple registrants to help offset their conference costs.
    Examples: pottery, textiles, homemade prepackaged foods, jams, handcrafts.(think of supplies that would be helpful or relevant in our exhibit categories)
    Prohibited items: - Store bought items for resale/Open food (i.e. soups, hot food, open drinks etc.)

  • Young people (6-17 yr old) that have a home business, ex. maple syrup making, granola making, soap making, making cards, aprons, garden signs, photography, etc. (Young Entrepreneurs must man their own booth and all materials sold must be made by them)

 Cottage Industry, Entrepreneur and Presenter categories will have a 6' table, no backdrop area  or electricity available.
